Grandma Booth's Brownies

8 oz. butter

4 oz. bittersweet or semisweet chocolate

4 eggs

2 c. sugar

1 c. flour

2 heaping t. vanilla extract

1/2 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Melt butter and chocolate over low heat or in a microwave.

Beat eggs and sugar together.

Stir in flour, blending well.

Add chocolate mixture, vanilla, and chocolate chips.

Press into a buttered 9 x 13 pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Do not over bake.
