Deep Dish Apple Pie

apples (enough to fill a deep baking dish)

cinnamon, to taste

sugar, to taste

Topping:


1 c. flour

4 oz. butter

1 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Peel, core, and slice enough apples.

Put a layer of apples in the dish, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Repeat the layers.

Put a tiny amount of water in the bottom of the dish.

Mix flour, butter, and 1 c. sugar, and sprinkle on top.

Bake until brown and bubbly, approximately one hour.
